Reimbursement costs are based on the average regional retail market for a genuine manufacturer approved replacement of or similar tire or wheel. If the structurally damaged tire cannot be repaired, it will be replaced. If a repair plan is purchased, repair of the structurally damaged tire will be attempted first. Tire and wheel protection covers damage caused by conditions defined as eligible road hazards which affect the performance of the tires/wheels as a result of the tire failing to hold air, or the wheel failing to seal with the new tire such failures may prevent the maintenance of the manufacturer’s air pressure specifications. Examples of eligible road hazards are commonly defined as, but not limited to, debris on a public roadway such as nails, glass, potholes, rocks and tree limbs, or any other object or condition not normally found in the roadway. Note: The purchase of a Tire & Wheel voluntary protection product is optional, cancelable (subject to specific agreement terms) and not required to obtain credit.
